Welcome! This site holds an online journal, a photo gallery, information about me which I'd love to share with everyone who is interested.

I fell in love with writing in High School. I love the process of story-telling, sharing bits of my life, and creating an experience with words and pictures. I absolutely love the fact that this site is MINE and I can control everything about it - from what it looks like, to what I say (bursts into a sinister laugh).

I write about my daily adventures - as a mother of a teenager, as a partner to my actor/director boy-friend, as a young woman enjoying the fullness of life, as a girly-girl who loves to shop, and a dancer who still dreams to perform with Madonna.

I like to write about my life, a few brazen thoughts here and there, and finding inspiration and happiness in the small simple pleasures of life. Ok...with the, extravagant and luxurious ones too!

Not Again!

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us
Yup, your eyes do not deceive you. I got into another accident. It has only been over a month since the last one! A Pajero just rammed into it this afternoon on my way to our company dance class. To think that I was just a stone's throw away from the studio when this happened! AArrrgh!

I just allowed this red car to make-singit in front of me. After swerving to the right lane, the driver in the red car decided to go back to the lane that I was at. No, I didn't stop abruptly. I actually even had the time to signal the driver in the red car to go on ahead and then it happened. Bang!

I somehow didn't feel the Pajero bump me from behind. I more of like, heard it. I looked at the rear-view mirror and I saw the SUV's front stuck to my car's rear-end. "Damn it! Not again!" I took 3 quick breathes to compose myself, grabbed my cellphone, and got out of my car.

Calmly I asked the driver of the Pajero,

"O, manong. Ano nanyari? Bakit nabunggo nyo ako?"

Would you believe that the driver (in uniform and holding a walkie-talkie of some sort) tried to blame me?! And it was about this time that I saw the damage...it wasn't minimal like I first thought it was. Luckily, the owner of the Pajero was with him. Just as I was thinking of going into a BF (b!tch fit) he cuts in, waves his hand to the driver to shut him up and says,

"Don't worry, i will take care of all the damages."

He gave me his calling card and I just wrote my number on a piece of paper (dancers don't have calling cards. hee...). He said osrry for the nth time and said,

"I apologize for the stupidity of my driver."

He seemed to be a one of 'em rich, genteel folks. So I took his word for it that he would pay for the repairs, albeit having no police report.

I was still hella pissed when I arrived at our dance class. I can't believe I can be this ill-fated with my car! My hana and my friends said that it was really the fault of that driver,

"kasi naka-tutok sya sa 'yo kaya ka nya nabunggo", they re-assured me.

I drew out the calling card that the man gave me. I was too dazed and confused to even inspect it when he handed it to me earlier. And there it was...my assurance that he will surely pay for my new bumper...a well-known surname that is synonymous to power and privilege... and under his name says, President. No, he isn't a Macapagal. Not that kind of president (haha!) It means that he is the president of his own company. Sorry, I decided not to mention his name nalang.

*sigh* ... But I'm still very upset. After class, I had the car estimated right away. Will take it in for repairs on tuesday (they're closed on monday. some holiday. dang!). I'm too O.C. to wait any longer to have it fixed. 4,500pesos to replace the whole thing! Even if am not paying for it, it's just such a hassle, right?

*sigh*...
