Welcome! This site holds an online journal, a photo gallery, information about me which I'd love to share with everyone who is interested.

I fell in love with writing in High School. I love the process of story-telling, sharing bits of my life, and creating an experience with words and pictures. I absolutely love the fact that this site is MINE and I can control everything about it - from what it looks like, to what I say (bursts into a sinister laugh).

I write about my daily adventures - as a mother of a teenager, as a partner to my actor/director boy-friend, as a young woman enjoying the fullness of life, as a girly-girl who loves to shop, and a dancer who still dreams to perform with Madonna.

I like to write about my life, a few brazen thoughts here and there, and finding inspiration and happiness in the small simple pleasures of life. Ok...with the, extravagant and luxurious ones too!

Today

Today…we went to SeaAir ticketing office to move our flight to Boracay from the 18th to the 19th. My hana has work. What sucks is that the only available flight on the 19th is at 2:40pm. We don’t like taking afternoon flights coz we’ll be wasting one whole day! As if staying there for 10 days won’t be enough! Hahaha!

Today… I finally got my long overdue haircut at Propaganda. I always look forward to going there coz Jing Monis is also a good friend of mine. I enjoy our conversations immensely. And since I only go once every 2 months, there’s always a lot to talk about. Plus, of course, I walk out of the salon with a stunning new hairstyle.

Today…I met up with another good friend whose back from NY. She just went through a bad separation (she left her husband in NY). To make things more complicated, she’s 5 months pregnant! I sat there and listened to her fears of having and raising her child alone. No matter how much I assured her that all would be well, I knew that she was still not free from anxiety. My heart weeps for her.

Today…while looking at some iPod accessories at Greenbelt, a foreign guy asked me... “Excuse me miss, but are you a Filipina?
Me: (no, I’m Caucasian, duh!)” Yes I am”, I answered back politely.
Foreign dude: “Oh, you’re so beautiful!”
Me: “Thanks!”, I replied with a cool and somewhat that-sh!t-ain’t-gonna-work-on-me tone. And I walk away. Style mo bulok, man…
