Tired and Depressed

Tired because… For the last 2 days my co-dancers and I have been shooting this oral care tv commercial (sorry can’t mention the product until it comes out) and it had us waking up at 4 o’ clock in the morning! The first day was really exhausting because the shoot was outdoors. So there we were…all clad in our 70’s garb enduring the volatile weather. It would rain, then shine, rain, shine, rain, shine (I’m surprised I didn’t get sick after). It was like that the whole day. Thank God they only wanted the “day effect” so they kept us until late afternoon. The next day, was a whole lot better coz we shot indoors. We had the comforts of air-conditioned rooms, sofas, and stores and restaurants near the studio so we can buy food whenever we wanted. Our roles that day were call center peeps. Computers, desks, headsets and funny-looking, double-breasted, well-padded, Gary V.-like blazers. Hahaha! See… Depressed because… 2 days ago, when I got home from our commercial shoot, my daughter got her very first menstruation. This may be a milestone for most parents, but not for me. I knew it would come soon but not this early! She’s only turning 12 this October. My hana was jumping up and down and was really excited but in contrast, I tried to keep a straight face to screen my misery. MY BABY GIRL IS NOT A BABY ANYMORE!!! Waaaaaaaaah!!!! :(
