Welcome! This site holds an online journal, a photo gallery, information about me which I'd love to share with everyone who is interested.

I fell in love with writing in High School. I love the process of story-telling, sharing bits of my life, and creating an experience with words and pictures. I absolutely love the fact that this site is MINE and I can control everything about it - from what it looks like, to what I say (bursts into a sinister laugh).

I write about my daily adventures - as a mother of a teenager, as a partner to my actor/director boy-friend, as a young woman enjoying the fullness of life, as a girly-girl who loves to shop, and a dancer who still dreams to perform with Madonna.

I like to write about my life, a few brazen thoughts here and there, and finding inspiration and happiness in the small simple pleasures of life. Ok...with the, extravagant and luxurious ones too!

*sigh...*

A bus hit my car this afternoon...

Coming from ABS-CBN, I decided to drop off our broken electric fan at Kamias St. to have it fixed. I was right in front of 7-Eleven (Edsa cor. Kamias) when the bus hit my left fender. And I wasn't even moving!

The bus driver proposed that I just take it to his bus company's garage for the repairs. I agreed. But I had to take it already to get an estimate. I asked where it was. He pointed north and said, "Dyan, malapit lang (Over there, it's just near)". We swapped licenses. I held his and vice versa (just in case. ..you'll never know, right?) I advised him to drive slowly coz I'm not really familiar with the Quezon City area.

From behind, I observed how he was driving and it was no longer such a mystery to me how he was able to hit my immobile vehicle earlier. His driving really sucks! Well, all the bus and jeepney drivers in Manila are like that, so go figure.

Anyway, that "malapit lang" bus garage was of course all bullshit. I practically freaked out when we passed Commonwealth Ave., then Fairview, and ended up somewhere in freaking Novaliches! How the hell was I gonna figure out how to get back?!

I could've blown my top but instead I looked at the poor drivers face and pittied him when the estimate of the repairs came. They said it would cost anywhere between 1,500 to 2,000 pesos. This, of course, was a very big amount for him. I'm pretty sure he's hard up for money and has a family to feed, or kids to put through school or bills to pay. I wanted to just give him a slap in the hand and say that it was alright. That he didn't have to pay for it and that next time he should just be more careful. But I changed my mind.

Maybe this experience will teach him a thing or two. These bus drivers should really be careful, you know.

Am I right?

*sigh*

Ok now I feel guilty.
