Welcome! This site holds an online journal, a photo gallery, information about me which I'd love to share with everyone who is interested.

I fell in love with writing in High School. I love the process of story-telling, sharing bits of my life, and creating an experience with words and pictures. I absolutely love the fact that this site is MINE and I can control everything about it - from what it looks like, to what I say (bursts into a sinister laugh).

I write about my daily adventures - as a mother of a teenager, as a partner to my actor/director boy-friend, as a young woman enjoying the fullness of life, as a girly-girl who loves to shop, and a dancer who still dreams to perform with Madonna.

I like to write about my life, a few brazen thoughts here and there, and finding inspiration and happiness in the small simple pleasures of life. Ok...with the, extravagant and luxurious ones too!

Odd Schemes and Senseless Shoot Outs

Watching the daily news and can be really frustrating and terrifying at the same time.

* WET BLANKET SCHEME: “Under the scheme, blanket-sized pieces of cloth, with words "Maglakad at Mag-abang sa Bangketa," are attached to poles fastened to MMDA service vehicles and sound trucks. MMDA personnel on board the sound trucks warn the commuters that they have arrived and those who refuse to heed will have wet rags plopped on their heads.”
–abs-cbnnews.com

What is up with that? It was observed that right after the blanket passed by, commuters would hop back into the streets. I say fine or send them to jail! Brutal, I know. But obviously it needs more than just a wet blanket to discipline these people.
And what are loads of the MMDA officers doing? Isn’t it also their duty to initiate order among pedestrians and commuters? Trenchant, intelligent, and honest law officers, that’s what this country also needs. Ha! I may never live to see the day.

Last year, 2,415 were injured and 281 dead because of jaywalking.

* There was a shoot out between cops at the Ati-Atihan festival in Aklan. 7 died. One of them being an innocent child that was hit by a stray bullet.

* Another shoot out took place just about a stone’s throw away from where we live in Ortigas! The reason: Parking space.

What do these say about our people and the country that we live in?
