Welcome! This site holds an online journal, a photo gallery, information about me which I'd love to share with everyone who is interested.

I fell in love with writing in High School. I love the process of story-telling, sharing bits of my life, and creating an experience with words and pictures. I absolutely love the fact that this site is MINE and I can control everything about it - from what it looks like, to what I say (bursts into a sinister laugh).

I write about my daily adventures - as a mother of a teenager, as a partner to my actor/director boy-friend, as a young woman enjoying the fullness of life, as a girly-girl who loves to shop, and a dancer who still dreams to perform with Madonna.

I like to write about my life, a few brazen thoughts here and there, and finding inspiration and happiness in the small simple pleasures of life. Ok...with the, extravagant and luxurious ones too!

What I've Been Up To

Funny how my days are filled with extremely numerous rehearsals, shows, and dance classes but I still manage to squeeze in some chores and other extra curricular activities. It's a must for me, I guess. It's what keeps me sane amidst the daily grind of work.

1) I had a dresser made and fixed it up real well. Finally, my own little niche in our home where I can doll up in peace! And yes, complete with the lights around the mirrors like those in artists' dressing rooms. I love our carpenter :)

artistahin di ba? hehe!

2) I was at Greenhills at exactly 10am when it opened and my main goal wasn't to buy clothes (I did that last week. hehe!)but to purchase more indoor plants to create a more homey feel in our living room. And I got these two...

too bad they don't have any smell

The one on the left is called a Bromiliad and the one on the right, I fondly call "pom-pom plant" coz I haven't the slightest clue what it really is (anyone?). Pom-pom plant doesn't really match my other existing indoor plants but it was cute, so I got it anyway. Might just put it in Mikah's room where it blends more with her sweet, girly interiors.

3) A few months ago I bought an expensive plastic shoe rack in Make Room. Alas, it only lasted for about a month. It couldn't carry the weight of my Imeldific collection of footwear. So again I had to call on our trusty carpenter, Mang Eddie. And voila!...

overloaded!

...sturdier wooden shelves. One for my hana (left side) and one for me (right side). I meticulously took a picture of each and every pair of shoes and stuck each one on their respective boxes. Whew!

4) Last but not the least, I discovered this new (to me) hobby called Digital Scrapbooking while browsing through Bambi's blog. Instantly, I got hooked. It took me awhile to figure it out though. Ehem...and now, with so much pride, I would like to show my very amateur-ish first attempt at digi-scrapbooking.

aren't the beautiful?

I actually have a kid sister named, AJ but I don't have a pic of her on my pc. Not to worry J, I'll make a special one just for you :)

Anyway, not bad, ey? Or maybe it was the beauty of my sisters that made my work look so pretty :)

And this is my second shot at it...

naks! feeling! :)

Oh di ba?! I know, I know...it's a little (ok, maybe more than a little) narcissistic. Pagbigyan nyo na ko, friends. :) Just for practice purposes :) Thanks again to Bambi for the advice. This whole digital scrapbooking bit is way too addicting!
